About us

Greenwich Concert Band is highly acclaimed and regarded as South London’s foremost amateur concert band.

The Band performs a wide repertoire of music allowing it to tailor performances to meet every concert’s needs.  Our large music selection is always evolving and includes music from ‘stage and screen’ to light classics and traditional concert band pieces. With a number of ‘big-band’ musicians on board, the band excels in performing ‘40s swing’ and popular standards.

We perform concerts throughout London and the South East. Concert venues include parks, concert halls, churches,  bandstands and summer festivals ~ as well as carrying out fundraising activities.

The band maintains close links with local churches including Holy Trinity Church, Eltham and Christ Church, Bexleyheath. We also link with Greenwich Academy of Music and Drama and combine with ensembles and performers from the Academy, including the Greenwich Youth Band and the Greenwich Community Choir for concerts.
